Solent Airport Daedalus’ tower was built in 1942. The tower has seen a great deal of change over the years but since the airport’s purchase by Fareham Borough Council it has taken on a new lease of life as the main airport office. Manned seven days a week the tower is the heart of everything that is happening at the airport.

The tower is home to all the airport management team responsible for the safe operation of all flying to and from the airport. Situated on the ground floor is the airport’s corporate lounge, Operations reception centre, Finance, Cafe@05, and offices used by various organisations. It’s also home to amenities including toilets and showers.

A number of airport tenants have their main offices/operations on the first and second floor of the tower.

The Flight Information Service Officers are based on the top floor in the visual control room (VCR) supporting and monitoring all aircraft traffic.

Our conference room provides television/video conferencing capability, large HD/TV screen, along with complimentary refreshments. The team can also organise caterers to provide light lunches for those longer meetings.
